Dental Bridges

A dental bridge requires placing crowns on the teeth on either side of the missing space to act as retainers to hold the pontic, or fake tooth, in place. If these teeth already have crowns or large dental fillings in them, then using these teeth as part of the bridge is a good option.

However, if the teeth on either side of the missing space are natural teeth in good health, it is highly recommended to consider an implant to replace the missing space in order to leave these natural teeth in their unrestored or minimally restored condition.
